weston clay therapist

Hi, I’m Weston.

(he/him/his)

The first step in therapy falls on me. In order for you to get the most out of our work, I need to create a space where you feel safe and ready to share. This does not happen on its own. Whatever you are working through, you can expect that I will meet you with a nonjudgemental attitude and a desire for us to figure it out together. I will also encourage you to tell me if something isn’t working for you.

I am trained in EMDR and AEDP, both of which equip me with the skills to help you to address what is holding you back, no matter how big or small. I am particularly interested in helping you practice self-compassion and become a better friend to yourself. When we can do this, the effects tend to ripple out and positively impact our anxiety, self-esteem, and relationships.

In addition to my work, I very much enjoy literature, theater, and hiking.
